We were recently blessed by the guidance of trainer Geof Gunton, from Australia, who came to provide additional training to help us take the Simply Mobilizing movement forward with greater vision and effectiveness. The training was in three key areas in including Coordination Team Training, Training of Trainers, and New Nations Coordination (for taking Kairos/SM into new countries and locations).
Geof has mainly been focused on coordinating the growth and training for SM throughout Latin America, but has always been eager to lend a hand in the U.S. as well (he was actually one of the trainers for the initial launch of Kairos with Team Expansion back in 2009, which was key for the growth in the U.S.). We benefited greatly from his investment and the guidance given.
The group of coordinators consisted of newer and older leadership as well as coordinators representing English, Chinese, and Korean, and it was a great time of collaboration for the days ahead.
