Coordinator Training

The United States National Coordinating Team conducted its first Coordinator Training January 18, with 11 potential Coordinators.  The trainers were Randy Hultman (Delaware), Simply Mobilizing Int’l Board and United States-National Coordinating Team (US-NCT) and Colleen Di Raddo (Maryland), United States-National Coordinator. Two Online Kairos Courses Completed

In early March we finished two English language online Kairos Courses. Between the two courses there were 67 participants and 61 successfully completed the course. Thirty-three different churches were represented.  One church from Las Vegas had 18 participants and another from the Minneapolis area had five leaders attending.  Covering both courses were 16 facilitators and two Head Facilitators. Facilitators joined together from nine states plus the Philippines and seven mission sending organizations were involved either as facilitators or participants.

SM at NAAMC

Simply Mobilizing was a sponsor and workshop presenter at the National African American Mission Conference on July 9-11 (Naamcevents.org.).  Because of the pandemic, the conference was held online.  The conference theme was “Missions Reimagined: From Here to Everywhere.” Registration was stopped at 1,000.   Eventually the conference was also available via livestream on FB which allowed anyone to join in the conference without needing a registration.  This was our first time at the conference.  We joined 28 other
