While Covid-19 may have inhibited our movement, it has not slowed down our mobilization. The Lord has opened up new opportunities for partnering together in mobilization among Spanish speakers in the U.S. The SM USA team has been working together with SM Latin America to host several courses online. We were able to offer Spanish courses of MOBI 101 and Interface to pastors and leaders all over North and South America. Before Covid-19, we would never have dreamed this type of teamwork to be possible, but it has been amazing seeing the different countries working together.
After these courses, we recognized the need for zoom training for Head Facilitators and Facilitators, so we created an online zoom training seminar. In this course we were able to give practical training on how to host online courses. This course was attended by individuals on four different continents: Europe, Oceania, Asia, and the Americas.
We are currently in the middle of a Spanish Kairos course, assisted by several facilitators from Honduras and one from Mexico. One of the participants recently remarked, “There are several Hindus who live in my apartment building, and I can see how the Lord is leading me to reach out to them.”
We look forward to incredible things that the Lord is going to do as we are flexible in following His goal to see the gospel preached among every ethnicity. Toda la gloria sea al Señor!
